1. Information We Collect
KindLynk may collect account information such as first name, last initial, email address, phone number, optional avatar or photo, support messages, login-related details, and account-level legal acceptance records.
When a Lynk is created or continued, KindLynk may collect the thank-you message, selected Lynk type, recipient first name, optional city/state, privacy settings, chain activity, open events, continuation events, public-story submissions, coupon status, and payment status.
If paid starts or credit bundles are used, KindLynk may also store payment-related identifiers, credit balances, bundle selections, transaction status, and Stripe or similar payment-provider references.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and deliver Lynks, generate private invite links, show creator dashboards, track opens and continuations, display optional map or timeline movement, process support requests, apply coupons, award or consume saved credits, and prepare payment records.
We may use aggregate or de-identified information to understand how KindLynk is used and improve the service.
3. Privacy Choices
Public sharing is optional. Public stories should only appear when the user chooses to share them and after any required moderation review.
Photos are optional. City/state is optional. Full last names are not required. Email addresses and phone numbers should not be shown publicly.
4. Recipient Privacy
A recipient may receive a Lynk without creating an account. If the same private invite link is opened through text, email, or social direct message, KindLynk may record those opens as activity tied to the same invite token.
Only one accepted continuation should create the next link in the chain.
5. Sharing, Service Providers, and Cookies
KindLynk may use service providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, payment processing, analytics, moderation, support, and security. If KindLynk later offers optional message delivery features, those would require separate product and privacy review.
KindLynk also uses essential cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, secure sessions, remember preferences, and maintain checkout continuity. Additional cookie details appear in the Cookie Notice.
We do not intend to publicly sell or display private emails, phone numbers, or private messages.
6. Requests, Deletion, and Contact
Users may contact mykindlynk@gmail.com to ask about privacy, request removal of public content, request account support, or request account deletion.
Some records may be retained when needed for security, credit and transaction history, legal compliance, dispute handling, or fraud prevention.
